An old friend

My chair and I have been together since college but it’s time for us to go our separate ways. Originally it has served its purpose, but the past few years of working with my chair have not been an enjoyable experience. It’s difficult to raise my chair to a height that suits me because the adjustment handle no longer works. The padding on both the back and seat has flattened so much that I’ve resorted to using a pillow restore some comfort. Also, on several occasions I’ve used superglue on the armrest in order to make this chair last a bit longer and to avoid getting scratched by torn pieces.
This chair and I have tried to support one another long enough. I hope I will be able to say farewell to my current chair and to call the comfy La-Z-Boy my new friend.
